Acceptance

By using this site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the site. Where you access Persona Protocol through a separate written agreement, that agreement governs and these terms fill only the gaps it leaves.

Intellectual property

The Persona Protocol name, the mark, the layer model, the site content, and the architecture described on it are the property of Alalonde Corporation. Provisional patent applications have been filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office covering elements of the architecture. The ledger on the front page lists the current status of each application.

A provisional application establishes a priority date. It is not a granted patent, and nothing on this site should be read as asserting that a patent has issued. The ledger is updated as the status of each application changes.

Publication of a description of the architecture does not grant a licence to implement it. If you wish to build on the protocol, contact us to discuss terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Probe, scan, or test the security of the site or its infrastructure without written permission.
• Submit automated traffic through the contact form, or attempt to defeat its checks.
• Scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for anyone else.
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation in correspondence.

Coordinated security research is welcome. Please make contact before testing, at contact@personaprotocol.ai.

Accounts

If you hold an account, you are responsible for what happens under it and for keeping your credentials to yourself. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been used without your authorisation. We may suspend an account used in breach of these terms, and will provide the reason for the suspension.

No warranty, and limits

The site and its content are provided as they are. Technical descriptions are published in good faith and may be incomplete or superseded. A specification under active development is not a guarantee of behaviour. To the extent the law allows, Alalonde Corporation excludes implied warranties and is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this site.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction.
